NAMO: KÖNCHOG SUM DANG TZA WA SUM

Roots and all sources of Refuge.

DRO KUN SANGYE LA GOED CHIR
In order to place all beings in the state of Buddhahood

CHANGCHUB CHOG TU SEM KYED DHO
I give rise to the Supreme Bodhichitta.

ME TOG CHU KYE PEDMAI TENG
Upon the Lotus flower which springs forth from within the water

DE NANG RANG NYID SEM PA KAR
Self-nature appears as Chenresig, white in color.

DUN DU PEDMA DA DHEN LA
In the space in front, upon a Lotus and Moon seat is

OD PAG MED GON KU DOG MAR
The protector Amitabha, red in color

ZHAL CHIG CHAG NYI NYAM SHAG TENG
With one face and two hands in the mudra of meditative
equipoise

LHUNG ZED ZIN CHING CHOE GOE SOL
Holding a begging bowl and wearing the robes of ordination

KYIL MO TRUNG GEE ZHUG PA LA
Seated in the full Lotus posture.

YE SU JIGTEN WANGCHUK KAR
To his right is Jigten Wangchuk (Chenresig), white in color

With one face, four arms, first two hands pressed together

YAY YON TRENG WA PEDMA DZIN
And the second right and left hands hold a Mala and Lotus respectively.

ZHENG PAY TAB KYI PED DHAR ZHUG
Standing upon a Lotus and Moon seat.

YON DU CHAG DOR THU CHEN THOB
To the left is Vajrapani (Thuchen Tob)

ZHAL CHIG CHAG NYI KU DOG NGO
With one face, two arms and blue in color

YAY YON DORJE DRILBU DZIN
Holding a Vajra and Bell in the right and left hands

ZHENG PAI TAB KYI PED DHAR ZHUG
Standing upon a Lotus and Moon seat.

SANGYE CHANGCHUB SEM PA DANG
Surrounded by a boundless retinue of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas,

NYEN THUE DRA CHOM PAG MED KOR
Hearers and Arhats (Foe-Destroyers)

TZO WO SUM GYI NAY SUM GYI
The three principal deities' three places are marked

DRU SUM LAY NI OD TRO PAY
With the three syllables from which light rays radiate

DEWA-CHEN NAY CHEN DRANG GYUR
To signal the invocation in The Realm of Great Bliss (Dewachen)

OM AH MI DHE WA HRI BENZAR SAMAYA ZA
ZA HUNG BHAM HO TIG TRA LHEN AH TI PU HO

OM HUNG TRAM HRI AH AH BHI KHIN TZA MAM

OM BENZAR ARGHAM PADYAM PHUPHE DHUPE ALOKE GENDHE NIVIDHYE SHAPTA TRATITSA YE SOHA

DECHEN ZHING DU CHOE KYI KHOR LO KOR
In the realm of Great Bliss the Dharma Wheel turns and

SEMCHEN NAM LA TAG TU THUG-JE ZIG
Constantly looks upon all sentient beings with loving kindness
and compassion.

DAM CHA ZHAL ZHEY DRO WAY KYAB DZED PA
Granting protection to beings as you vowed.

NANG THA NYAM ZHAG DZED LA CHAG TSAL TOD
To Buddha Amitabha who remains in the composure of
equality, I prostrate and render praise.

LHA TSOG KU LAY ODSER NUB CHOG TROE
From the bodies of the assembled deities, light rays radiate into

DECHEN ZHING NAY OD-PAG-MED PA YI
The Western direction of Dewachen where Amitabha remains

KU DANG NGAG TRENG CHAG TSEN PAG MED PA
Body manifestations, mantric syllables and hand emblems countless in number

CHAR ZHIN BAB NAY DAG LA THIM PAR GYUR
Like pouring rain descend and dissolve into oneself.

OM AH MI DHE WA HRI (After reciting no less than 108 repetitions of the mantra....)

(Repeat the following prayer as many times as possible.)

GONPO OD-PAG-MED LA CHAG TSAL LO
I prostrate to the Protector Amitabha Buddha

NUB CHOG DEWA-CHEN DU KYE WAR SHOG
May I be reborn in the western pure realm of Dewachen
(Great Bliss).

By this virtue may I swiftly

OD-PAG-MED GON DRUB GYUR NAY
Accomplish the state of the Protector Amitabha

DRO WA CHIG KYANG MA LUE PA
And may all sentient beings without exception

DHE YI SA LA GOED PAR SHOG
Be placed in that very state!
